What is Monel-K500?

Monel K500, also known as Alloy 500, has the UNS designation N05500 and W.Nr. 2.4375. It is a precipitation-hardened nickel-copper alloy. It is renowned for its outstanding ability to resist various corrosive environments, including seawater, acids, and alkalis. Due to its high strength and corrosion resistance, Monel K-500 is commonly used in marine engineering, chemical processing, and oil and gas applications.
