What is Monel-400?

Monel 400, also known as Alloy 400, has the UNS code N04400 and the W.Nr. 2.4360. It is a nickel-copper alloy, renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance in marine environments. Monel 400 is approximately composed of about 67% nickel and 23% copper, and exhibits good mechanical properties over a wide temperature range.
