What is 904L(N08904)?

S32750 duplex stainless steel offers higher strength and corrosion resistance than S32205.

Compared with 904L stainless steel, it provides superior resistance to corrosion caused by mixtures of dilute sulfuric acid and chloride ions. In contrast to austenitic stainless steels, it features higher yield strength and lower ductility.

UNS S32750 super duplex stainless steel also exhibits high impact strength, but it is not suitable for use at temperatures above 570 °F (300 °C), as prolonged exposure to such conditions will result in reduced toughness.
